Responsible for the execution of long-range planning and cost recovery of various systems initiative projects. Reconciled balance sheet accounts and provided financial reporting to ensure compliance with SARBOX and SEC policies. Documented project accounting treatment and established processes to expedite the internal and external audits process. Demonstrated through analysis the best cost recovery strategy to obtain maximum results and reduced liability exposure. • Managed Systems Initiatives Projects with total value of more than $70 million. Partnered with senior business leadership as a key advisor to optimize total business performance and drive the financial strategy. • Provided financial leadership to explain trends and variations in results vs. expectations. Worked closely with various groups to develop and implement necessary corrective actions. • Ensured service deliverables were met by supporting the timely and effective execution of key financial processes. • Performed financial modeling to monitor and analyze programs to determine over or under recovery positions. Resulted in the adjustment of charge-out rates to meet targets. • Implemented financial modeling and reporting metrics. Result: cost savings of 10% and implementation of best practices. Ensured financial objectives were achievable by evaluating balance sheet positions and P&L impact costs. • Determined ROI, viability and cash flow expectations by performing complex financial analyses on new and existing projects on a regular basis. Evaluated different cost recovery scenarios and made recommendations. Result: Projects to be completed within budget and on-time saving the company between $5 - 7 million.
