Palladium/nucleophilic carbene (diazabutadiene) mediated couplings such as Suzuki, animation, Heck, Stille, hydrodehalogenation involving aryl halides. Ru/Rh-nucleophilic catalysts for hydrogenation, hydroboration and olefin methatesis catalysts. Nucleophilic carbene mediated organic reactions. As a senior Graduate Research Assistant supervised and guided first year graduate students joining the Nolan Group.
