Contracted to General Motors Truck Group, Pontiac, MI -Resolve engineering related issues for GMT800 full size pickup trucks and SUV’s • Managed a cross-functional engineering team to resolve product and process issues. o Met weekly with manufacturing plants and vehicle systems engineers to address part changes, installation and timing issues and to prioritize resources. • Managed quality projects that were implemented for JD Powers improvements. o Reviewed and tracked changes to parts to insure JD Powers targets were met. • Engineering liaison to Full Size Truck plants (Silao Mexico, Fort Wayne, Pontiac, Oshawa, Janesville, Arlington) • Developed faster EWO (Engineering Work Order) and PAA (Product Action Authorization) processes to make engineering changes.
