Daily Duties at Pepsi Bottling Group/ Chas. C. Copeland:
Started as a "fill in” spare driver for 6 months. This consisted of servicing clients in the Metro Boston area to fulfill product orders. I was then put on a newly organized merchandising team of 6 employees to service supermarkets. I was given a territory for the least amount of sales within all market areas. For the next 5 quarters, I was the only one awarded many achievement awards and bonuses for the most cases sold in any market in the Metro Boston areas including highly populated area markets. We were all given a .5% per quarter sales growth indicator and my lowest sales growth came in at a shy 5.2% and the highest was 15.6% per quarter over previous years. This was in part of proper product display setups, POS/POP and customer service needs.
