-responsible for meeting annual goals of $750,000 in convention sales -worked with clients to ensure that their experience at the convention center is enjoyable -cultivated new business through cold calling, personal visits and facility tours -maintained relationships with former clients for repeat business -researched potential clients convention and meeting needs and convention history -covered all aspects of service industry with client including food and beverage and A/V needs -worked with other local properties for services to benefit clients -negotiated pricing with clients then write and submit proposals as well as contracts -responsible for finding vendors for Allegheny Mountains Convention & Visitor Bureau signature events -spearheaded a motorcycle event planning committee with local business professionals from Blair County
