Daily Duties at R.E.Johnson Landscape:
Overseeing the daily operations and sales quotas. Managing all aspects of Human Resources, sales and procurements, contract negotiations, public speaking, business law, health and safety programs and other various duties to create and grow a medium size landscape firm. This was an operation that started as a part-time operation in 1987. In 1998, it evolved into a full time business and grew to 22 employees and a sales growth rate of 75-130% per year. In 2002 and 2003, I received a plaque by Dunn & Bradstreet and was recognized as a listed member in the National Registers as "Who's Who" in executives and professionals due to the success of the company and my vital role of its success and growth. This was in part to the harmonizing of employee values and achievements to make this success happen. I have extensive knowledge in DEP/EPA, OSHA, FDA and USDA laws and guidelines, State and Federal Labor laws. Many of our clientele consisted of major corporations such as Wal-Mart, B.J. Wholesale, Sam's Clubs, Lowe’s, Home Depot, Spaulding and Slye/Colliers, Ventar Corporation, Atria Communities, Gannett and Caldwell Banker. In September of 2003, the company was sold to a large landscaping firm in Massachusetts due to their interest in our continued growth beyond industry standard guidelines.
