Daily Duties at 56th Signal Battalion Us Army:

Lead maintenance of 35 single, triband, and multi-channel satellite systems worth $10M and located in Texas and Georgia, providing operational supervision and technician training to ensure top quality systems maintenance. Design and implement maintenance programs serving preventative and corrective maintenance efforts; facilitate cross-training among an array of technical specialties toward service continuity. Build relationships and liaise extensively with General Dynamics and CECOM partners to facilitate access to technical and subject-matter expertise and coordinate training for new technology. Perform adjustments, alignments, and calibrations to maintain and repair systems and equipment, utilizing schematics, specifications, technical manuals, and diagrams. Supervise maintenance technicians and shops. Hold responsibility for detailed records and tight inventory control to facilitate future efforts. Oversee readiness and accounting of large vehicle fleets and dozens of generators.
