Daily Duties at State Of Nebraska:
Responsible for the st's inpatient health care system including four long-term care and three mental health hospitals scattered across the state which had a daily census of approximately 2000 patients and approximately 2000 staff. Duties included development of health care vision for all facilities, oversight of staff development, regulatory compliance, all operational planning, quality assurance and reporting, stakeholder relationships, legistation initiatives, media relalationships, HR supervision, and many other challenges. Some of the facilities faced very difficult issues, and I also acted as my own consultant to develop and implement some very intense interventions while operating under the eyes of the Legislature, press and families.
