Daily Duties at Columbia Analytical Services:

 Oversee the analysis of various matrixes of samples (Soil, Aqueous, Tissue) for both volatile and non-volatile compounds (Diesel spills, Benzene, Halocarbons, Dioxins, PCBs, PAHs)  Produce assessment reports based on the findings of any analysis or investigation.  Review all data for validity and integrity  Participate in litigation when necessary ( Primarily in the capacity of defending any data)  Maintain, repair and purchase analytical equipment as needed (Primarily GC and GC/MS)  Maintain continuous communication with clients or partner labs  Supervise a staff of 5 chemists and technicians.  Perform budget assessments.
