Daily Duties at Greatland :

Developed objectives and directed staff responsible for the quality assurance, PM/software development of eCommerce & web products (business and tax applications). Ensured organization operated within the established parameters and in accordance with ISO standards. • Developed, executed, and monitored project management plan for key software development products. • Created tasks list and identified dependencies associated with them; developed contingency plan to deal with project risks; identified critical path issues and developed practical plans to achieve solutions. • Worked with business analysis team to develop business requirements, charter and scope. • Worked directly with group leads to ensure that a successful plan for delivery is in place. • Reviewed and approved baselines/scope, scope and change management plan, risk and issue management plan, release and quality management plan, and metrics. • Introduced and implemented Quality Gates process methodologies to control software development lifecycle to improve product quality and reduce development interval. • Implemented measures to reduce internal and external quality issues. • Coordinated the effort of creating Quality Management Systems using ISO9000 standards; implementation of quality standards, procedure and metrics; reduce fault finding rates in the field by 75%. • Analyzed test results and report findings to product management and development organizations. Reviewed release notes and user manuals to ensure all changes made meet our high level of quality standards. • Directed the development of system testing strategies, plans, cases and conditions to ensure processes and products meet standards and quality assurance principles.
