Recruiting college professors, managing 50 college professors in both the paralegal and criminal justice program; developing a program master schedule for each professors teaching for that term; create program core offerings and determines instructor assignment each term; participates in curriculum development; recruit members for Program Advisory Committees; manage Program Advisory Committees; stay current in subject matter area and instructional methodology; participation in conference calls, develops, implements and communicates changes in curriculum to faculty; administration; oversees delivery and assessment of instruction; ensures what is being taught conforms with the college’s standards; administers and analyses Faculty Course Evaluations; observes class instruction; manage all student issues, work with student services to resolve student issues and scheduling; assists with and implements problem solving solutions for all risk students in accordance with student services; work closely with student services to conduct academic advising as needed, program budget management; review transcripts; interview faculty; interface with departments/individuals; perform other duties assigned; recruit, select, and train all new instructors; confers with teachers following classroom observations; confers with professors regarding Faculty Course Evaluation results; prepares and conducts annual faculty performance reviews in a timely manner; resolve all student, faculty and employee issues; conducts and maintains minutes for regularly scheduled faculty meetings; promotes subject area faculty development, responsible for carefully monitoring progress of students and instructors; and responsible for monitoring faculty development and ensuring proper documentation is provided as evidence in all faculty files.
