Daily Duties at California State University Fullerton:

Responsible for our campus exchange environment currently 4 exchange 2007 clusters and one remote exchange server in our disaster recovery center in San Francisco. Also I maintain run and provision our CX-340 EMC SAN and Active Directory infrastructure. I manage our Ironport spam appliance and our blackberry servers. I have been the sole provider for all our exchange migrations from 5.5 to 2007. I also assisted on the migration from Windows NT all the way through to our current of environment of windows 2003. I am personally responsible for approximately 20 servers and assist with up to 80 others. I have designed built and maintained Cal. State Fullerton’s email infrastructure. I handle secondary Support for our Genifax email/fax solution and our backup for exchange. I Manage and maintain our patching and testing for our entire email infrastructure from the ground up. I am currently working on the testing of a VMware infrastructure for server consolidation. I work currently primarily with Dell servers but have also worked with Compaq. I am responsible for our third level support for all our email clients from POP3 to IMAP and Outlook to Entourage and mail capable phones such as Iphone and blackberry.
