Daily Duties at New Balance:
•Supervisor of multiple processes in the manufacturing of domestic athletic footwear. •Developed a work schedule of the twelve assembly teams that reduced daily production issues and improved shipping to 98%. •Executed daily and weekly production schedules reducing waiting time from 1 hour to 0. •Prepared statistical reports detailing productivity and quality levels for management review •Responsible for associates’ performance evaluation providing feedback on ways to improve performance and counsel on career development •Collaborated with HR department in the hiring of new Associates •Managed the training team, ensuring all new associates were fully qualified to become a part of the assembly teams in 8 weeks of training •Developed a tool to limit dents from the box toe of the 811 shoe style and reduced pain for the repair associates.
