Daily Duties at Jdsu:
Procured, designed and improved manufacturing support equipment for the production of vacuum deposited color-shifting security pigments. Lead and/or participated in cross-functional process improvement teams to identify potential projects with emphasis on increasing equipment reliability, reducing processing machine down time, and enhancing maintenance processes. Provided updated production and maintenance work instructions for newly installed or modified equipment and trained production technicians in there use. Identified and documented lifting equipment and associated hardware, assuring their safety and adherence to OSHA standards.
