Daily Duties at Hilton Wilmington Riverside:
Supervise set-up of function in accordance with contracts and written and/or verbal specifications. Inspect meeting rooms for correct set-up, cleanliness, etc. Hire and train staff of 20-30 in conjunction with the Banquet Captain. Communicate with various departments to coordinate efforts for large events. Assist the Banquet Manager and act as Manager in their absence: (1) enter billing information in to Delphi system, (2) check staff attendance according to schedules, (3) attend pre-function and staff meetings, and (4) resolve problems that may arise. Verbally communicate with staff and guest host to ensure smooth execution of function, and quality of service.
