Systems Engineer, LSI Logic, Inc./LSI Corporation Performed validation tasks for Serial Attached SCSI (SAS) controllers and RAID controllers. Writing test firmware for PowerPC 440x series processors to validate functionality of the chip not necessarily exercised by normal production firmware Communications with hardware designers to describe and diagnose errata seen in a part Analog signal integrity validation, ensuring that signal strength, jitter output, jitter tolerance, pre-emphasis are within specified limits Direct customer support work as necessary to supplement product integration engineers' workload and to support new product launch, including schematic reviews, integration questions and issue resolution
