Daily Duties at Wellpoint:

Description: Determine the eligibility of a customer for a medical contract provided by Wellpoint. Responsibilities: • As a Project Lead involved in the coding, designing, development, testing and implementation of programs, JCL, PROC etc. for Contract Eligibility. • Creating Impact Analysis and Implementation document for NCPDP5.1 compliance for Contract Eligibility. • Design and code programs using COBOL, CICS, DB2 and IMS for contract and group eligibility systems and identify changes for maintenance of programs. • Preparing, fine tuning and reviewing CM Plans, Standards, Guidelines and Checklists for Design, Coding, Testing, Release and Acceptance, Unit Testing and System Testing. • Handled Coding and self-testing of various IMS screens with rigorous involvement in Unit Testing and System Testing.
