Buyer II at Arcade Marketing January 2001 - January 2007 (6 years 1 month) Calculated monthly and yearly material requirements to facilitate purchase and delivery of raw materials. Negotiated contracts with suppliers. Coordinated all aspects of material planning and stock room material flow. Buyer at Arcade Marketing January 1996 - January 2001 (5 years 1 month) Developed computerized spreadsheets to track daily receiving, packaging, and shipping. Selected for electronic purchasing, when none had previously existed. Produced Standard Operating Procedures which became the standard for other Visant companies. Responsible for training sister companies in standard operating procedures of purchasing , and set up of automated purchasing software. Produced a total package of controls to inform management of budget criteria. Consistently exceed goals set by corporate vendor programs, by developing innovative cost-saving methods. Responsible for preparation and delivery of all financial reports, as requested by Visant Corporation.
