 Supervise volunteer staff of ~50 individuals serving nearly 10,000 hours/year, planning and executing annual awards ceremony and regular communication efforts.  Manage Command Staff Satisfaction team organizing morale building strategies, resulting in staff satisfaction rate of 4 (on Likert scale of 1-10) to 7 (on the same scale) over a 2-year period.  Oversee maintenance of more than 100 years of organizational history; Conceptualized and directed transfer of history from paper to digital format – making accessible to staff and the general population.  Create and disseminate messages to both internal and external audiences.  Maintain relationships and liaise with stakeholders through information sharing and community participation.  Organize, advertise and recruit for community outreach programs and activities  Lead Command Photography Team.  Write and disseminate news releases to local, national and international media outlets.  Coordinate press coverage of events involving Naval Health Clinic Charleston and/or its staff.  Lead full-range, team communication efforts resulting in a reduction in patient no-shows from ~7% to ~3%, leading to annual command savings of ~$500k.
