Daily Duties at Hntb:

Performed role as the Lead Quality Assurance Auditor for the Silicon Valley Rapid Transit (SVRT), conducting on-going Quality Assurance audits and assessments for design phase of the project. Responsibilities included conducting Quality performance audits on design, construction, and supplier and fabrication facilities. Scheduled and performed Design assessments, based on specific design/submittal phases, constructability/bidability reviews, and audits of the final submittal package of plans/specifications. Scheduled and performed Construction assessments of on-going construction projects and processes, insuring the contractor was performing to the clients’ expectations, and to insure non conformances were being properly documented and providing oversight to proposed and recommended corrective actions. Implemented improvements to processes and procedures to insure overall compliance, to meet the expectations of the clients. Provided Quality technical support to management, during the short-list and selection process, and participated in the final selection for prospective Design/Build contractors. Additional responsibility included being the Safety Manager, in conjunction with being the Quality Assurance Manager on the VTA Highway program.
