Daily Duties at Chubb & Son:
Responsible for determining coverage for Managed Care, Med Mal, EPL, MPL and Directors and Officer claims, set reserves, reviewed and paid legal bills, documented claims files, mediated and negotiated claim settlements, partnered with defense counsel and insureds to settle claims, wrote claim positions bases on policy language and interpretation, retained defense counsel on duty to defend policies, researched claim issues when necessary, worked closely with underwriters and brokers to resolve claims issues.
