Managed an internal GroupWise email system that included the synchronization of email, calendaring, and contact lists between email servers and hand-held Palm and Blackberry devices. Maintained MS Web and MS SQL server platforms and managed security and access with NTFS and Active Directory policies, working closely with the Development group to ensure that security and performance issues were constantly addressed. Managed the server and WAN environment for an ASP project serving six remote sites. This environment utilized SuSE Linux back-end servers and MS Terminal Servers for remote access via VPN and dedicated T1 connections. Citrix Access Essentials were added later.
