Daily Duties at 15th Reconnaissance Squadron:
Served multiple management roles, participating within cadre of 44 UK military members and their families that integrated within 15RS. Executive Officer, Second in Command, for all United Kingdom personnel (of all 3 Services) detached on 24/7 combat operations. Guided training, performance, professional development, discipline, and welfare issues with 25 direct reports at junior management level and 10 further secondary reports. Oversaw assets of GBP 400+ million with monthly budget of GBP 4.5 million. Wing Operations Director, accountable for ensuring continued operations, scheduling and welfare of 500+ multinational personnel. Primary liaison with international organisations and widely dispersed operators. Chief of Standards & Evaluation and Senior Instructor Pilot for UASs, establishing / writing operational procedures which were adopted by 500+ personnel dispersed over 8 separate units. Directed independent command of 120 personnel with exceptional record in operational output, personnel promotion, and further development.Chosen to lead the ‘Tiger Team’ (Project Group) for the Air Force introduction to service of Multi-Aircraft Control. Designed and led experimental flight test program, wrote and taught operating procedures and crew training schedules. Coordinated with industry for hardware and software improvements.
