Daily Duties at Img Interactive Media:

Instrumental in building & and expanding IMG’s business in the digital sports marketing arena.  Founding member of IMG’s interactive media & technology arm.  Negotiated interactive rights agreements for IMG client properties (e.g., Scotland’s Royal & Ancient and The Open Championship) generating hundreds of thousands of dollars in rights fees.  Integrated digital media applications (web, mobile, video, scoring) as a value-added component of traditional sponsorships, thus creating a significant new multi-million dollar revenue stream.  Established first interactive media production operation and spearheaded a $1M media project in partnership with Samsung for the Nobel Foundation.  Identified high-potential interactive start-ups and crafted consulting services program in exchange for equity plus cash for licensed properties (e.g., SportsLine).  Developed cutting edge technology partnerships with blue-chip companies for premier events by trading branding/promo rights & benefits for technology solutions. (E.g., HP, pre-Akamai start-up.)

Working in an organization that is technologically advanced, creative, and innovative is critical in your assessment of hiring companies. Less important to you are stability of the organization, the length of time an organization has been in business, and the business' plans for the future. You prefer a fast-moving company that will take risks to achieve its goals and objectives. The length of time the company has been in business is irrelevant. Maintaining status quo is unnecessary. You thrive on change, uncertainty and the upside of potential business risks, especially those associated with innovation. Stability for the long haul is not nearly as important as is working in an atmosphere that is charged with a sense of urgency and constant change.
