Daily Duties at Moore Stephens, Pc:

Spent most of my time with the preparation and review of corporate, partnership and all other business "entity" tax returns. Preparation of forms 1040,1120 - C and S corps and forms 1065, as well to a fair amount of trust tax returns. The firm chose to move away from direct input of the business returns with the workpaper files. They made the investment on CCH Engagement software. I spearheaded the project to link the client’s trial balances to their CCH Pro fx software. • Liaison between the tax and audit departments to provide assistance to audit staff with respect to matters that may affect the tax returns or just general accounting questions.
