Daily Duties at Kb Home :

KB Home is a Fortune 500 homebuilder ranked 5th largest in the nation with 6,000 employees and ranked the #1 Homebuilder in Fortune Magazine’s 2006 list of America’s Most Admired Companies. • Designed and directed the designs of hundreds of plans and elevations for numerous series of single-family homes, town houses, and duplex projects for Georgia, Florida, North and South Carolina, Gulf Coast, and Texas with a sales value worth 100’s of millions of dollars. • Promoted to Acting Director of Design for the Florida Region. Successfully directed a team of three to eight designers over a two year period in the design of hundreds of distinctive value engineered single-family homes and town house plans and elevations which were instrumental in helping KB Home rank # 1 for the most sales of any other builder in Orlando, Tampa, and Jacksonville in 2007. • Successfully scheduled, coordinated and managed up to 20 projects at a time for 7 Florida divisions, value engineered plans and elevations, reviewed and redlined working drawings, conducted quality control construction inspections, coordinated work with division managers, and consistently met stringent design deadlines. • Designed home plans ranging from 1,100 – 4,500 square feet. Select projects included designing and directing the designs for the front elevations of the Florida Regional 30’, 40’, 50’, and 60’ Series single-family home plans totaling 69 plans and 483 elevations just to name a few.
