Daily Duties at Pride, Sr L :
Creation and maintenance of service catalogs for global IT group, pricing and charging schema, accountancy of service usage and charges and ITIL processes for catalogue changes and CMDB updates (both automatic and manually entered). Data Cleansing of CMDB and data analysis. Tasks included: Proactively enhanced eRunbook discovery processes to provide correct information on Data Center hardware. Coordinated with System Administrators in solving eRunbook installation issues, and opening firewalls for server-agent communication. Conceived multiple service charging models to increase overall clarity and ease-of-use. Managed critical projects integrating and storing security needs in CMDB via eRunbook, as well as reconciling CMDB data with real-time eRunbook data. • Creation of service catalogues to include detailed descriptions of services offered by Global Information Services group of Vodafone to Operating Companies (internal subsidiaries of Vodafone). Maintenance of service catalogues as changes occurred. • Development and maintenance of service pricing schema for fiscal year 2007-2008, development of new pricing schema for future operations. • Development of change management process for service catalogues to ensure customer and internal voices will be considered for each change. • Develop, maintain and improve various simulations in MS Excel regarding service usage, customer activities and Vodafone Global activities. • Develop, maintain and improve various VBA macros for MS Excel spreadsheets to normalize, manipulate and organize data, toolsets, and processes used in simulations and charging workbooks. • Prepare presentations for communications to various internal groups and customers explaining current and future activities as well as financial situations and expectations. • Develop, with CMDB personnel, a schema for data extraction from CMDB personnel to ensure correct data has been extracted in correct format for current charging, simulations and planned changes. • As part of pricing schema development, with Finance personnel, develop plans for current and future activities for the improvement of processes, activities and service prices.
