Daily Duties at Lockheed Martin:
Member of Operations Configuration Management (OPS-CM)team. Group responsibilities were to maintain all boot up software on any given computer on all of the five LANs owned by NASA. We were also resposible for several tools to perform software downloads, software transfers, template creations, server mounts and unmounts, and mutiple subsystem software version maintenance. Tasks included: • Maintenance, upgrades and extensive testing of all tools used by OPS-CM. • Quality and assurance testing of each of these tools in each of the LANs. • Troubleshooting any problems found within any changes to code or effects from other software subsystems. • Perform upgrades to the tools to match requirements to perform new or different tasks within a reasonable amount of time • Personally responsible for upgrading our software from Digital Unix Alpha 3.2g to Digital Unix Alpha 4.0d. • Development of a tool to transfer entire software versions or partial versions from one LAN to another. • Interaction with programmers from other sections and end-users to investigate problems found in the OPSCM software. • Major contact point for our group from other teams and end-users • Review and update OPS-CM compliance rules for ISO.
