• Brought civil engineering expertise to the Tribe to reduce the cost of development; • Planned strategic infrastructure improvements and evaluated Tribal development proposals; • Supervised and mentored an Assistant Engineer. Set priorities, assigned work and evaluated performance; • Developed good working relationships with other Tribal Departments, neighboring municipalities, the CTDEP, the BIA, the ACOE, and other state and federal agencies; • Secured Federal, State, local and Tribal permits; • Projects included a theme park, alternative energy systems, new utility extensions (sanitary and storm sewers, water, gas, electric, communications), building renovations, space-utilization, stormwater management systems, new housing development, bridge replacement, dam reconstruction, new parks and trails.
