Daily Duties at Silicon Graphics, Inc.:

Successfully brought together and managed a staff of 15 hardware and software engineers responsible for the creation of cutting edge High Definition video PCI products. Oversaw development and delivery of kernel drivers, device dependent libraries and board designs for IRIX, Linux and NT operating systems. Championed use of Integrated Process and Product Development programs to effectively manage product releases from conception through end-of-life. Responsible for producing a comprehensive business plan that addressed all budgetary, marketing and manufacturing projections. Spearheaded entire technical, business planning and marketing processes for a one product fits all across the whole company. The results of this initiative increased efficiencies and produced significant cost savings. Managed and responsible for all phases of product development for IRIX based desktop video software. Retained product ownership for company’s legacy video products, including Indy, Indigo, Indigo2 and Octane.
