Daily Duties at Rothstein Kass & Company, P.C.:
Serve as the lead to organize and direct tax engagements for various hedge funds ranging in value from one to twenty million dollars Prepare complex tax returns for Limited Liability Companies, Partnerships, and Corporations with capital ranging between one and twenty million dollars Provide tax consulting to various clients with personalized tax needs o Warrants, Equity, Options, Bonds, Debt-financed companies Responsible for determination of client fees o Variables include project, timing, staff availability, complications Responsible for annual tax training of all incoming and second year tax and audit staff members o Five to ten staff members Serve as mentor to all members of the tax staff relating to both personal and professional matters
