Daily Duties at Architects Incorporated:
Research and produce code studies on projects. Met with authorities having jurisdiction to review current codes and ordinances in conjuction with preliminary project designh to verify and confirm requirements. Prepared and presented projects to Planning and Zoning as well as Design Review Commissions and City Councils for approval. Repared designs and details for cad drafters to produce under my direction. Met with consultants to review and direct their work on projects. Prepared and produced project specifications. Assisted clients with bidding and negotiations on projects. Prepared addenda during bidding phase to answer bidders questions and/or concerns. Lead A/E team doing construction administration including review and approval of shop drawings, contractor payment requests, review proposal requests and when necessary created documents to support proposal requests for pricing, conducted site progress inspections/progress meetings, as well as substantial completion inspection prior to Client's acceptance and move-in.
