Daily Duties at Ejm Aerospace Services:

- Directly responsible for the daily operations of the Program Management, Aircraft Modification, Manufacturing, Engineering, Supply, Purchasing, Planning, and Facilities Maintenance Divisions of the company. - Provides overall direction and guidance to the operational activities of the organization with the objective of maximizing company growth and profitability as well as day-to-day leadership and management of all operational functions. Initiated the acquisition of a Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) and Computerized Lathe with Live Tooling to increase productivity and capabilities - Develops and creates strategies and policies aligned with organizational goals. - Provides direction and structure for all operating units; Implements improved processes and management methods to optimize workflow and generate higher profit to all departments. Designed and initiated planning procedures that improved work flow processes in the manufacturing and modification divisions increasing output by 10%. - Performs responsibilities of Vice President in their absence. Senior management responsible for working with CEO and VP’s in setting organizational goals and strategies. - Provides mentoring, performance evaluations and guidance to subordinates - Skilled in performing inspections to ensure quality is maintained while following established guidelines and regulations. - Ensured and enforced compliance with company and environmental rules and regulations; promoted workplace safety. Analyzes cost of quality, performed supplier source inspections, and verified supplier quality systems. - Daily interface with DCMA, program managers, engineers, and technical personnel to meet contractual and customer requirements. - Integrates and develops strategy for presenting production planning issues in a viable funding or budget profile. Led company from having a less than stellar program quality system to ISO 9001:2008 Certification in 10 months time. Decreased and maintained manufacturing defect levels from 21% to less than 2% within 5 months. - Responsible for developing, organizing, coordinating and directing all Quality Assurance (QA) activities within an aircraft modification/manufacturing company. Accountable for all aspects of the company’s quality program to include manufacturing, engineering, production, modification, installation, repair, maintenance, and contracting. - Developed and maintained the quality control aspects of certification and production program schedules. - Played a key role in developing an efficient and effective system to ensure the quality of aircraft modification/manufacturing activities were consistent with ISO 9001 requirements during all phases of operations. - Developed and implemented quality assurance programs by identifying, proofing, measuring, and analyzing processes to assure compliance with contractual obligations. - Conducted process analysis planning for the analysis of manufacturing and production process flows and variation. - Reviews customer contracts for Federal Aviation Regulation (FAR) requirements, assures requirements are adhered to during product realization process. Ensures DCMA and DCAA requirements are met. - Accountable for the direction, evaluating, leadership, and development of six Program Managers and overall cradle-to-grave management of 21 major concurrent contracts totaling over 110 million dollars while ensuring the compliance of ISO 9000 requirements with the objective of maximizing company growth and profitability - Increased customer base 10% through proactive networking, interfacing with potential customers and proven team effort of the proposal process. Compile, adjust, document and manage POA&M. - Establish milestones while monitoring adherence to master plans and integrated master schedules; identifying problems and formulating mitigation solutions as well as directing engineering activities. - Introduced and implemented initiatives improving manufacturing on time delivery rate 30% through training and mentoring and providing visual graphs for manufacturing personnel. - Lead Critical Design Reviews, First Article Inspections, Engineering Proposals, In Process Reviews, proposals, RFQ’s, inspecting Technical Orders and Drawings, maintaining and updating budgets ensuring fiscal responsibility, and monitoring EVM while providing status and communication reports in accordance with CDRL’s, FARs, CLIN’s and Work Breakdown Structure
