Daily Duties at Mimis Cafe:
Supervised a crew of 30 to 40 employees for a multimillion-dollar full service restaurant, as well as provided leadership for an entire crew of 100 employees. Maintained profitability by keeping all costs within budget while managing sales growth by ensuring the provision of “positively outrageous service” and superior guest relation. Other responsibilities included writing weekly schedules for entire staff, interviewing and hiring of new employees, conducting new hire orientations, and the operation of the computerized accounts payables’ system. Daily activities included participation in the training and development of employees, processing daily receipts, conducting risk management inspections to ensure the restaurant operates within all laws and ordinances, and maintaining the company’s high quality standards.
