Daily Duties at Rainforest Cafe:
Supervised a crew of 40 to 50 employees for a multimillion-dollar full service restaurant, as well as provided leadership for an entire crew of 110 employees. Maintained profitability by keeping all costs within budget while managing sales growth by ensuring the provision of “110% guest satisfaction” and superior guest relation. Other responsibilities included the weekly purchasing and inventory processing of liquor, wine and beer, interviewing and hiring of new employees, and the operation of the computerized accounts payables’ system. Daily activities included interacting with guests, participation in the training and development of employees, processing daily receipts, conducting risk management inspections to ensure the restaurant operates within all laws and ordinances, and maintaining the company’s high quality standards.
