Daily Duties at Med Partners Inc :
•Managed the divestiture of Physician Practice Management groups into the company’s way of doing business. Managed all IS related expenses and budgets related to integrating the clinics. Matrix managing a very large group of departments was done during the integration process. •Managed the separation of the systems from the MedPartners systems back to the new owner’s systems as the clinics were sold. •Consolidation of claims processing for the practice into the MedPartners system. •Initiated and negotiated a national contract with an electronic transactions firm to standardize our EDI and outsource the interfaces to the HMO with which we did business. Coordinated with project managers working on specific projects to make sure consistent and standardized process were used in any electronic transmission initiative. Result: The company saved money through standardized uniform processes.
