Led a task force comprised of other Assistant Attorneys General as well as department heads of other governmental agencies charged to protect the Northern Mariana Islands’ Treasury through enforcement and compliance, guarantee repatriation of out of work displaced foreign nationals, conclude garment/government manufacturing contracts, prohibit "corporate flight”, freeze and distribute assets belonging to the Commonwealth and seek extradition of foreign nationals where appropriate from countries such as the Philippines, Thailand and Korea Secured approximately $600,000 to be used towards the repatriation of many distressed, Chinese female garment workers. This release and securing of funds had been previously held up in a trust contingent on the pendency of an ongoing but dormant five year old federal lawsuit
