Daily Duties at Christa Construction, Llc:
Oversaw project management for 2 mission-critical initiatives, in both an advisory and hands-on capacity. Cultivated strong business / project relationships and liaised between management and labor unions. Ensured prompt resolution of all issues by implementing onsite “24 / 7” management availability. Devised strategic plans to enhance efficiency, cost control, job costing, and reporting processes. • Played key roles in successful delivery and cost / change management for the Niagara Falls Convention Center and the renovation / modernization of GM’s Powertrain Plant #1 in Tonawanda. • Bolstered productivity, minimized costly plant downtime for GM, and facilitated completion of both projects by increasing labor-management cooperation; proactively addressed conflicts and reviewed issues raised to identify possible areas for improvement. • Streamlined change and job cost accounting systems by creating resource / equipment analysis spreadsheets and by developing improved reports.
