Daily Duties at Keane/Gateway:
• Provided user consultation, analyst/Team Lead on various projects using PMI and SEI CMM Level 3 principles to keep activities on time and within budget: Managed programs and supervised team of programmers instrumental in design processes necessary to perform data cleansing on duplicate address book records in application database. Utilized extensive knowledge of the JD Edwards Address Book, databases, order entry, manufacturing systems, and replacement parts in order to process rearranged lines of data for the CRM conversion. • Designed program to modify the JD Edwards application to create multiple orders for customers with more than one ship-to address for use in up to 2,100 retail outlets. Project manager and technical analyst in spearheading software solutions for thousands of multi-line orders to be processed via JD Edwards through EDI processes, and created clones of the same for outside vendors. • Created technical designs in timely manner within budget requirements for system modifications to track sales and return on investment utilizing MS Project to develop detailed project plans. Developed solutions to modify critical documents and reports. Wrote test cases and promoted changes using change control to avoid interrupting daily business. Designed Visual Basic application to replace Access database used for security purposes to track employee log of computer check out and return of this equipment. Following SEI CMM Level 3 processes, monitored resources on projects for on-time delivery and ensured the modifications matched requirements. Designed backend databases, created tables and scripts; transferred data to SQL Server and Oracle to ensure successful transfer of data.
