Provided support in daily operations of the Reference Department/Research On-site and Outreach instruction in the use of library resources and Academic Databases via phone, e-mail, face-to-face and live chat Actively participated in development, evaluation and selection of web resources Provided outreach services to high school students taking college classes Taught Bibliographic Instruction classes to GCCC Students Maintained close professional relationships with faculty, students and colleagues Provided local and state-wide virtual reference services through Ask-a-Librarian Kept Current on Professional Library Literature/Journals Experience on Ex-Libris/Aleph, Horizon, Promoted library services by participating in university program orientations Participated in Collection Development/Management Provided Research Assistance for college students and dual-enrolled high school students Provided Reader’s Advisory service to students, staff, faculty and community patrons Served on college-wide committees Responsible for some openings and closings Worked Flexible Hours as Needed
