• Participated in the origination and execution of equity and equity-linked transactions in the clean tech, energy and healthcare sectors. • Created and maintained pitch and presentation materials that marketed Natixis to existing and potential corporate clients. • Coordinated with client management in order to create investor presentations and marketing materials intended to describe the investment thesis and educate the investor community. • Assisted in the structuring and pricing of equity and equity-linked transactions. • Coordinated with Natixis’ international offices in order to facilitate cross-border transactions. • Researched and produced Public Information Books to prepare senior management in advance of client meetings. • Facilitated the growth of capital markets and investment banking into the energy sector. Transactions included a $200mm High Yield transaction for Frontier Oil Corp, a $2B Follow-on offering for Chesapeake Energy and a $250mm Convertible Debt transaction for Hercules Offshore. • Assessed investor potential by reviewing assets under management, industry focus and previous deal activity to determine if an investor was an appropriate candidate to approach for specific fund-raising opportunities. • Instrumental in establishing the private placements practice by introducing the Private Investment in Public Equity (PIPE) transaction to the firm and its clients. Representative transactions include a $9mm transaction for RXi Pharmaceuticals, Natixis’ first healthcare PIPE. • Cultivated relationships with hedge funds and PIPE-related investors. • Organized, coordinated and produced deal roadshows for the purpose of marketing clients to the investor community during live transactions. • Developed presentations with senior management in order to analyze Natixis’ performance via its competitors, demonstrate the firm’s successes in the equity new issue market and identify and illustrate future growth opportunities for the firm. • Marketed PIPE transactions to hedge funds and institutional investors. Solicited orders by describing the investment thesis and facilitating interactions between investors and management and/or research. • Performed M&A analysis for companies in the clean tech industry in conjunction with clients’ senior management teams.
