Daily Duties at Oregon Department Of Fish And Wildlife:
I coordinated field activities for the Dry Beaver/Ladd Canyon Elk Habitat Enhancement National Demonstration Area Project and worked with private and public partners on Blue Mountain Elk and Seeking Common Ground Initiatives. This involved implementing techniques to improve habitat on public lands including monitoring the closure of hundreds of miles of national forest roads. Additionally, I participated in black bear research, turkey trapping/relocation, and riparian restoration/fencing.
