Daily Duties at Morgan Stanely Smith Barney:
Second in command/manager of a branch of 75 employees, conducting $30million in business. Supervise, train and mentor operations and support staff, consisting of client service associates, wire operator, cashier, CG analyst, Marketing Associates, Sr. Operations Manager and Control Admin (total of 25 direct reports). Ensure operational work is accurately and efficiently processed and scanned, providing service to client and protecting the firm from financial loss and liability. Conduct and complete quarterly RCSA to ensure branch is in compliance with processes and procedures. Continually inform branch of new procedures and remind all branch employees of current procedures to help focus on a “clean” audit. Review, monitor, and help minimize errors. Assist Branch Manager in annual budget development. Monitor and review P&L monthly to control expenses, remove legal issues and monitor significant changes. Assist Branch Manager in all branch supervision including specialized areas in our branch consisting of Stock Purchase Plans, NRA Focus office, Institutional and 401K specific Financial Advisors. Provide ongoing training to assure customer service and sales goal are met and customer retention is maintained. Career path, continually train, provide coaching, promote telephone etiquette, internal and external customer service, and team morale. Support our Branch Manager with any and all questions, projects and reports where needed. Completed NRA Focus office in Miami, FL, Stock Plan Services Director Designation, and Financial Planning Specialist, Completed and received a certificate of completion for Leadership Training Levels 1-3. Series 3 Obtained
