Daily Duties at Sidel Usa:

As part of Sidel USA, the world’s largest packaging and conveying company with earnings over $290MM/year, managed a division that consisted of a team of 13 designers and engineers as well as 20 machine assemblers and electricians to produce a variety of custom and standard automation machines and robotic work cells. * Managed all aspects of engineering and manufacturing at the Bradenton facility. Reported directly to the General Manager and responsible for the technical and financial success of all projects for 2 divisions totaling $10-15 million per year. * Developed new tools to aid in project scheduling and proposal generation resulting in 25% decrease in proposal generation time. * Responsible for defending Sidel and GEBO patents by analyzing possible infringements. Worked closely with legal counsel when legal action was required. * Responsible for working with the lead Product Manager (sales) to maintaining a highly competent, well trained, and motivated staff. * Implemented an ISO 9001 quality system, wrote many of the procedure documents
