Daily Duties at Rnd Automation & Engineering:
After purchasing a non-profitable division of Sidel USA, RND is now a highly successful, profitable business. RND maintains a national leadership position in the custom automation and robotics market in the southeast and is the largest custom automation manufacturer in Florida. * Manage all aspects of engineering and day to day operations of a $2 million/year company * Responsible for 2008 sales revenues of $1.8 million, up 38% from 2007 & 80% from 2006 * I run the day to day operations of the business including engineering and project management, accounting, material management, sales, quotations and proposal and contract negotiations. * RND was profitable from day one, carries no debt and enjoys a strong cash position. * Developed a number of tools to increase the efficiency of proposals and quotations allowing engineering to quote systems costing up to $1 million in less than a week.
