Daily Duties at L. Simpson & Company:

Plan, design, implement, tune and analyze business-oriented technical solution databases and Microsoft Access applications including data/process analysis and modeling, logical and physical database design and development and database maintenance and management. - Responsible for the analysis, documentation, maintenance and performance of all database systems that are implemented - Provide technical expertise to the development of solutions for such items as DBMS tools and utilities usage, database backup, recovery, database performance, and performance monitoring. - Perform Basic maintenance on Microsoft Access database along with scripting and use of queries - Create new applications using Visual Basic, Microsoft Access, and other Microsoft Office programs - Work with user departments to develop MS Access, Excel and Word programs to interface with existing applications - Train and help new and current employees on how to use SalesLogix database software and Microsoft products
