Daily Duties at Kb Homes:

Responsible for coordinating construction drawings for Northern California and prioritizing project workload. Coordinated outside engineering and architectural contractors on a project basis. Adhered to, monitored and maintained standard levels and standard specification development within company Divisions. Reviewed drawings for accuracy, completeness, details and overall quality. - Aided in the creation of the Northern California floor plan library containing 80+ plans, each with 5 elevations, which in turn increased the speed and efficiency of the creation of construction documents. - Developed AutoCAD blocks for Design Review Drawings which were adopted for use by the company nationwide. - Acted as a liaison between Division construction and service managers to determine recurring warranty issues that could be corrected on future projects, thus saving the company money on warranty repair work. - Worked my way up from a junior draftsperson to leading a team of CAD Technicians in the Design Department within 3 years.
