Daily Duties at Pulte Homes, Inc.:
Primarily responsible for coordinating all California working drawings and production as well as managing relationships, tracked projects, and prioritized workload with in-house and outsourced Architects. Managed staff of 20+ consisting of Architects, Division Managers and CAD Technicians to ensure consistent application of construction standards and practices to create code compliant, high quality construction documents. Monitored adherence to all FHA/ADA guidelines as set forth in policies manual. Assisted VP of Product Development in projecting future business needs. Managed all quality control of working drawings for California. - Created, developed, and implemented standard specification detail drawings in conjunction with corporate guidelines to increase the efficiency, quality, and constructability of all outgoing documents. - Through the formation of a skills test for new hires, and the commitment to create a work environment that continually encouraged employees to learn from one another and develop their skills, I was able to maintain a strong, dedicated, and productive staff with high retention rates. - Produced AutoCAD lisp, CUI, Blocks and Details Library, and drawing templates, which resulted in a marked increase of efficiency and productivity amongst the team. - Under my leadership, projects that once took over 12 weeks to complete, were now consistently being completed within 8 weeks with superior quality.
