Daily Duties at General Electric – Global Network Operations(Gno):
• Engineered major network implementations.(Frame Relay, ATM, Point to Point, VPN) • Supervised router configurations, tests, and turn-up of specific circuits and hardware. • Coordinated SONET ring tie down and a CFA/LOA network. • Led a project for outsourcing US implementations – for GE Businesses - to contracted vendors. • Created, administered and documented Six Sigma project processes. • Created, documented, implemented new departmental processes for ckt ordering. (SOP’s) • Identified track-able / reportable items for order process, created dashboard and cockpit views for management / vendor tracking and follow up. (telecom implementation /support team) • Instituted a daily and eventually “LIVE” reporting for ordering operations utilizing identified reportable items. • Knowledge of telecom systems, formats and configurations. • Managed Vendor relationships.(8+ vendors)
