Daily Duties at Synopsis Corporation:
Developed software tools for the EDA (Electronic Design Automation) industry. Designed Boolean scripts utilizing Hercules libraries, which manipulated polygon masks over microprocessor layouts. Performed Boolean operations and converted layouts to hierarchical multi-layered structures. Designed Hercules run sets for Design Rules Checks (DRC) requested by our customers (Intel, AMD). Created scripts for advanced software tools based on Optical Proximity Correction (OPC). OPC is a model-based design approach, which utilized Partial-Coherence optics for correcting errors in the photolithographic process.
